YES! is thrilled to team up with Marc Osborne and Simply Sharp Knife, Scissor & Blade Sharpening to bring knife and tool sharpening back to Belmont Center!

It’s a small thing, but it's exactly the kind of small thing we believe in: keeping what we already have working well, instead of buying more. Less waste, sharper knives, happier kitchens.

Marc has been sharpening blades by hand since childhood, using whetstones to hone kitchen knives, scissors, and garden tools to a level standard sharpeners can't match. He's also factory-trained on the Hamaguri flat hone system, having studied under NSSG/NSG-accredited Master Sharpener Dennis Brooks to properly sharpen beauty and hair-cutting shears.

So drop off your dull knives, scissors, or garden tools at YES!, and we'll get them into Marc's expert hands!

How it works:

1. Bring your knives, shears, or garden tools into YES! and fill out a quick intake form

2. We'll pass them along to Simply Sharp on their regular pickup schedule

3. Marc will confirm receipt of your items, inspect, price*, and sharpen each item

4. Pick up your freshly sharpened tools back at YES!, ready to go

Pricing:

• Knives: $10 (double bevel) / $12 (single bevel) / $13.50 (serrated)

• Razors: $7

• Shears & scissors: $12 (household) / $20 (styling & grooming)

• Grooming clipper blades: $10

• Garden tools: $15

• Chisels: $5

*Chipped or damaged blades may include a small surcharge — Simply Sharp will assess and reach out directly before completing any extra work
